Refund Policy

1. Nature of Donations

Mehtag Social Welfare Society (Registered NGO, BCRA-116177) uses donations to fund healthcare camps, emergency ambulance support, Ramzan ration relief and other community programs. Once a donation is received it is pooled and allocated to these activities, so donations are considered final and are generally non-refundable.

2. When a Refund May Be Considered

We will review refund requests in the following situations:

• Duplicate transaction: the same donation was charged or transferred more than once.
• Incorrect amount: an amount different from what you intended was sent because of a clear typing or system error.
• Payment error: funds were deducted but the transaction failed, or the payment was processed in error.
• Unauthorized transaction: a payment was made without the account holder's consent, supported by evidence.

3. What Is Not Refundable

• Donations where the donor simply changes their mind after the transaction is completed.
• Donations already distributed or committed to a program, such as ration purchases or camp expenses.
• Bank or payment-processing charges levied by third parties, which we cannot reverse.

4. How to Request a Refund

Please contact us within 14 days of the transaction with the following details:

• Your full name and contact number
• Date, amount and bank/payment method used
• Transaction ID, reference number or bank receipt
• A short explanation of the issue

Requests received after this period may not be eligible. Our team will verify the transaction against our records and respond to you.

5. Processing Time

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method or bank account. Processing generally takes 7–15 working days after approval, depending on your bank.
